The 2000 Polar Lights reissue and the 1972 Aurora Glow-in-the-dark reissue weren't enough; I had to track down the original, which as it turns out was the second official Godzilla item produced in the United States!

Remember kids, use only AURORA Styrene Plastic Cement. Only 10 cents a tube and 25 cents a bottle!

Finally, after 45 years, I can read the instruction sheet "narrative" again. Looking back, I wonder why Aurora claimed Godzilla was vanquished by an earthquake, the ground opening to "swallow" him rather than Dr. Serazawa's "oxygen destroyer" and her personal sacrifice? Remember, this kit was released some 20 years before "Godzilla 1985" (as known in the US), so no movie had him fall into a giant fissure. If it was for the suicide aspect, Aurora could have simply omitted that detail and focused only on the weapon.
After all these years I began to wonder if I simply misremembered what was printed upon the instruction sheet. Seeing this photo scan, I feel vindicated.

Ha! Isn't that write-up strange? You can sort of see the first film in there, and the end of the second/beginning of KING KONG vs GODZILLA with him being buried in ice, but then they sort of go off the rails. I guess they were allowed creative license? It's very interesting!
