GAMMERA THE INVINCIBLE still (1966)

Just arrived in the mail....poor Gamera gets no love! This is from the US theatrical dub (and re-cut), which they called GAMMERA THE INVINCIBLE, starring an extra "M".  I had a spot left on my wall in "the studio," and I wanted to give it to Gamera!

Although I haven't seen this version of the film (and don't know what might be cut out of it for that matter), what did they call the boy in this one (so used to "Kenny" myself, became a thing we use to refer to such a precocious child (or not) in films like this).

His name is "Toshio," and Kenny is definitely a Sandy Frank-version invention...but it stuck. I too have been trained to call all little precocious hot-pants-wearing protagonists "Kenny"s !
(By the way, the Sandy Frank version is just a straight dub of the Japanese film, with none of the added American scenes), and was the one that was used on MST3K so successfully.

Yeah I remember (with "Officer Curly" too).
